The Yucca Council is proud to serve over 1,000 youth members who are focused on achieving mountain top experiences by developing leadership skills through some of the most amazing outdoor experiences they will ever have! Scouting exists because of people like you who believe in our youth and who believe in making a difference. With your support we will ensure our camps, programs and leadership remain relevant for our Scouts to reach their full potential!

The Yucca Council serves 7 counties in West Texas and Southern New Mexico, as well as over 1,000 registered members. Additionally, the Council supports 2 camps, Camp Tyler Francis in Sunland Park and camp Dale Ressler in Cloudcroft, NM. In order for the Council to function effectively, things like volunteer training, insurance coverage, administrative needs, recognition for our volunteers, camp equipment and staff support must all be addressed. The Investment in Character campaign is the council’s outreach to our community to support these objectives and ensure our kids receive the best program possible.
