Over the past thirteen years, Amor por Juarez has worked to foster cultural and artistic development by supporting arts of all disciplines, from creation to execution to promoting artists within the community. Amor por Juarez has opened a New Art Gallery, Region One in Downtown El Paso. This new contemporary art gallery project seeks to promote the screening, inclusion and involvement of established and emerging artists in the national and international art scene. The gallery will drive the development and promotion of local art, the professionalization of artists, curators, theorists and critics of art and other cultural agents of the border and form an audience interest in contemporary creations and be a key point in the artistic and cultural events in the town.
