Growing up, PBS shows like Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood and Sesame Street were more than just television for me—they were a doorway to learning. They helped me learn English, taught important life lessons, and sparked a love for education that shaped who I am today.

Now, being part of PBS El Paso, I have the privilege of helping bring that same impact to children and families in our community. Beyond the screen, PBS El Paso creates and participates in events where families can access free educational resources—backpacks filled with school supplies, kindergarten readiness tools, books, and so much more. These events are designed to ensure every child, regardless of background, has the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond.
